Hi, I'm Amy!
I am a pianist and teacher with more than 25 years of experience helping students grow in skill, confidence, and a love of music. I believe music is a gift from God—one meant to be developed, enjoyed, and shared—and I’d love to help you discover what’s possible at the piano.
More About Me
Music has been a lifelong joy for me, and teaching gives me the opportunity to share that joy with others. I believe music is a gift from God, and I love helping students develop their abilities, express themselves, and grow in confidence at the piano.
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and bring more than 25 years of teaching experience to TMS. Trained in both traditional and Suzuki methods, I’ve taught in private studios, worship camps, and church music settings. My musical experience includes classical piano, accompaniment, ensemble playing, and contemporary worship.
My approach centers on building strong musical foundations while making room for each student’s interests and goals. Whether you’re learning your first notes, exploring classical repertoire, preparing for a performance, or trying contemporary styles, I’ll meet you where you are and help you take your next step.
I hope each student leaves lessons with more than new skills—a sense of accomplishment, the confidence to keep learning, and a love of music they can carry throughout life.
